Gutter cleaning can mean removing debris from a channel or washing the outside of the gutter. Fascia and soffit cleaning concerns other roofline surfaces. State which result you need and describe overflow, visible debris or staining. Cleaning is not a repair to damaged joints, loose fittings or hidden drainage faults, so those concerns must be identified separately.

We supply products and equipment for the agreed cleaning service. There is currently no minimum booking requirement. Any specialist extras are identified in your quotation.

List the building height, relevant gutter runs, extensions and obstacles such as conservatories, narrow paths or locked gates. Note where overflow occurs and whether the problem is occasional or persistent. This information helps distinguish a clearance enquiry from an external-washing enquiry.
Ask what the quotation demonstrates.
Confirm which runs and surfaces are included, how access will be managed and whether inspection findings or photographs form part of the agreed work. Is gutter clearance the same as fascia cleaning? +
No. Clearance concerns debris inside the gutter channel. Fascia, soffit and external gutter washing concern the appearance of outside surfaces. Specify which tasks you want quoted.
Will cleaning fix an overflowing gutter? +
A blockage can contribute to overflow, but damaged joints, alignment or drainage faults can also be involved. Explain where water escapes; do not assume a cleaning visit includes repair.
Can gutters above an extension be reached? +
Access must be assessed from the building height and obstacles. Provide the layout and relevant photographs if requested. The available equipment and safe reach need confirmation before booking.
Will I receive photographs or an inspection report? +
Ask whether either is included in the proposed service. Evidence of completed work is useful, but should be explicitly agreed rather than assumed.
