THE RIGHT CLEAN FOR YOUR SPACE

A move-out clean organised around your handover

End-of-tenancy cleaning is a property handover task. Tenants, landlords and letting agents need a shared understanding of the areas to be cleaned, the condition on arrival and the deadline for access or inspection. Use the inventory or supplied cleaning checklist to identify priorities. An unfurnished apartment, a furnished house and a changeover with appliances included should not be quoted as identical jobs.

TELL US WHAT YOU NEED

Start with your priorities.

01   Share the number of bedrooms and bathrooms.

02   Tell us when belongings will be removed and keys are due back.

03   Highlight ovens, internal cupboards or other extras for discussion.

04   Provide the handover checklist and any priority areas.

Cleaning cannot guarantee a deposit return or resolve wear, damage or tenancy disputes. The agreed checklist sets out the cleaning work we’re quoting for.

PLAN YOUR END OF TENANCY CLEANING

A clearer cleaning checklist.

Use these areas to plan your enquiry. The final inclusions and any extras are confirmed in your individual quote.

Tasks to discuss

01   Kitchen: accessible surfaces, sink, taps and agreed appliance exteriors.

02   Bathrooms: accessible fittings, surfaces and agreed build-up removal.

03   Rooms: accessible dusting and floor cleaning after belongings are removed.

04   Handover priorities: tasks from the agreed property checklist.

Name the extras upfront.

Oven or fridge interiors, internal cupboards, carpet treatment, upholstery, internal windows and waste removal must be confirmed individually.

PRACTICAL END OF TENANCY CLEANING GUIDE

Planning end of tenancy cleaning in Dublin

Plan the handover in the right order.
Arrange removal of belongings and rubbish, complete any dusty maintenance and confirm utilities and access before the cleaning appointment. State which furniture remains. Leave time between the clean and inspection so access or scope questions can be resolved without colliding with the next occupant’s arrival.

Check every inclusion against the inventory.
List the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and shared areas, then identify internal cupboards, fridge/freezer, oven and internal glass separately. Carpet and upholstery treatment require their own assessment. Cleaning can address agreed dirt and residue; it does not repair damage or determine a landlord’s deposit decision.

Before you book

Cleaning cannot guarantee a deposit return or resolve wear, damage or tenancy disputes. The agreed checklist sets out the cleaning work we’re quoting for.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

End of tenancy cleaning questions, answered.

Does end-of-tenancy cleaning guarantee my deposit back? +

No. Cleaning is only one aspect of a tenancy handover. Agree the cleaning checklist and retain your booking records, but do not treat a cleaning service as a guarantee about a deposit or inspection outcome.

Are ovens, fridges and cupboards included? +

List every appliance and cupboard interior you need cleaned and have those items confirmed in the quote. Explain whether the fridge will be empty and whether cupboards or wardrobes still contain belongings.

When should I book the clean during a move? +

Aim for after belongings and rubbish have been removed and any dusty work is complete. Keep utilities available and allow time before handover. Share the actual access and inspection dates when enquiring.

Can a landlord or letting agent coordinate access? +

Yes. Provide one named contact, the property details, required checklist and access arrangements. Make clear who approves changes and who receives the completed service information.

Settling in, or simply ready for a reset?
